Correct body conditioning is an essential part of any physical routine, and should be performed regularly as well as before participating in any activity. Minimize all fatty and fried foods as much as possible, and never overeat foods high in sugar. Prevent Eye Floaters By Avoiding Physical Damage




Eye floaters can be prevented by simply limiting physical damage to the eyes, which can not only cause eye floaters but can also worsen the condition.

Obviously, avoiding eye injury is of paramount importance, and in most cases, injury can be prevented. For example, those that participate in contact sports should wear the appropriate protective equipment.

Certain medications have side effects known to be involved in eye floaterdevelopment. If the medication is essential, then at least follow the guidelines and stick to the recommended dose. Illegal drugs should also be avoided as they can cause eye floaters as well as other, perhaps more serious issues.

Rubbing the eyes can also cause a great deal of damage and should be avoided. Even sleeping face down can cause damage as the eye rubs on the eyelid.

Smoking can also cause physical damage to the eyes. Free radicals present in smoke can trigger eye floater growth. Smoking and the places frequented by smokers should be avoided.

Anti-oxidants are good at reducing the effect of free radicals, so increase the intake of fruit and vegetables, which are rich sources of anti-oxidants.

Cosmetic products, such as hairspray and anti-perspirants  may also contain harmful substances, so great care needs to be taken to prevent spraying in the eyes.

Clearly, damage to the eyes can occur simply during normal daily activities. But with some care and attention, together with easy diet and lifestyle changes, eye floaters can be prevented.
